“Jeannie was kicked out of her house when she was eighteen years old. She was pregnant and living in her car, with nowhere to go and no one to turn to for help. The future for Jeannie and her baby seemed so hopeless and uncertain, until she heard about Joann’s Cottage. Joann’s Cottage was able to take her in and provide a safe, comfortable place to stay until she had her baby. While she lived there, Jeannie learned all about how to take care of her child and how to become a successful mother on her own. Later, Jeannie was able to move into the beautiful Frankino Transitional Housing Duplex at Villages of Hope with her baby, and she is very excited for what the future holds for the both of them.
