Our goal is to bring awareness to the need for continuing care for youth who have aged out of the foster care system or are otherwise homeless. We also aim to inform the community about opportunities to foster and adopt children. Our intention is to accomplish this through personal service, hands on involvement, mentorship, a suggested annual financial contribution and events throughout the year which will give us a platform to share the need.
As Angel Moms, we hope to impart faith, hope and love into the lives of those who have perhaps lost faith in themselves, might have no hope, and might feel no love due to their circumstances.
What Angel Moms Do
Our Angel Moms will serve as Ambassadors in the community for Place of Hope at The Leighan and David Rinker Campus. We want to create awareness to the need for the type of programs this organization provides for children and young adults who have abused, neglected or abandoned. Our Ambassadors will have a good understanding for our history, programs and model of care. This can be achieved by visiting our other campuses for a tour. Our Angel Moms will also help us network in the community to meet new people who will help us further the mission. Angel Moms will also have the opportunity, if they choose, to volunteer and get involved where they feel their talents can be best used. Lastly, our Angel Moms will have the opportunity to work alongside our kids if they are interested in doing so.
